
THE AIRCRAFT OF THE FUTURE
The invention of flying began as early as about
1000 years ago when the Chinese tried to fly with the help of kites and hot
air balloons.

The Wright brothers in Kitty Hawk flew on

World War II gave the aviation industry a real

On July 27, 1949, the world's first custom-built jet, the British De
Havilland Comet, took its maiden in England. Built by aviation pioneer
Geoffrey de Havilland, it was this jet engine that revolutionized the
aviation industry and paved the way for aviation to fly higher and climb
faster where greatly reduced flight time.
It first flew on August 10, 1949, over 800 km / h, the first flight of a jet
transport in North America, the second in the world.

To remember this record, we must go back to 1949. Before, turbojet propelled
propulsion and several versions of the early jet engine such as the
Rolls-Royce Nene, a piston engine aircraft, were flown. After this, aircraft
with full jet power were used due to their reduced noise level and
vibrations.
The fact that we travel through the air with the help of aircraft is
currently a major factor as we are dependent on transporting goods as
people. But one concern remains!
The emissions that come from all the fossil fuels out of the aircraft!
Fossil-free fuels have already been tested on animal and vegetable fuels.

It has also been tested to fly with the help of solar panels, which became a
successful journey for Solar impulse 2. A journey around the world with the
help of 17,000 solar panels.

The future aims at a fossil-free way of transport. The vision is that we
will be able to fly with the help of electricity.
Chinese researchers in Wuhan have unveiled a jet engine prototype that
creates high-temperature plasma directly from pressurized air. The concept
is based on combining air which is then ionized with the help of microwaves,
which generates hot plasma that provides power. Plasma production is
electrically powered, which means zero emissions!
